Thanks so very, very much!!! It's 9:05 here and i just noticed this thread now!! How sweet of all of you, you have just made my day!! (and night) By the way, for my one week reward, my boyfriend and I went out for pizza and rootbeer last night. He said we could go wherever i wanted - so pizza and rootbeer it was! Tonight is Night 8 and there seems to be more cravings or smoking thoughts than usual, i think i read that between day 8-11 some people found it tough. Anyway, thanks again, you guys are the best!! Den Well done, I know it has not been easy, but you have that busy mind thing going now and that will keep you distracted. If you run up against one of those situations that would in the past send you running for a cigarette, try to remember that the cigarette never changed the situation. It never made it better, it merely gave you a time in space to remove yourself from the situation. Quess what YOU CAN DO THAT WITHOUT SMOKING...Now ain't that a kick in the head... nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 385 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 11,550 Amount Saved: $4,042.50 Life Gained: Days: 71 Hrs: 20 Mins: 43 Seconds: 6

Den There is this saying and I do believe it to be true and it goes something like this: If you can quit for a week you have the ability to keep quit for a lifetime. In other words, you can have the whole enchilada! I noticed that some of the more verbose quitters are the ones that keep on keeping on. I know week one, aint easy. Congratulations, surely are in order!!
