Awww OMT You're a sweetie! I'm so happy to have both of you guys in particular (and everyone else who sticks around for support of course ;)) as quit buddies! You guys rock! I totally understand what you mean by being in a smoke-friendly country... Portugal used to be the same thing... until this January! But don't worry, Goofy and I will be here to get you through those couple of tough weeks and then you'll roll! You'll definitely make it this time... you already have the right attitute :) Goofy, I missed the Giants game but I'm glad they beat the Cowboys... I'm actually a New England fan and would love to see a perfect ending to a perfect season... but hey... most of my friends hate me for saying stuff like that because they're so sick of seeing the Pats winning all the time. I guess I can understand that, but I can't help rooting for my team. They just sucked for such a long time, that now it feels good to see them do soooo well :) Anyhoo... I'll try to contain myself. Thank you Anna and everyone else! It's nice to hear that from people with a bigger milage... it keeps us strong :) No smoking Tresa... you've been smoke free for so long your smoke free days look like a real date! MistyMoonlight, I'm curious now to know what you heard in your head when you read my name? Keep the quit buddies! S. Congratulations on 11 weeks Sprquits!!! I am on day one...today. Yes, I have re-set my quit meter. I had a small slip over the holidays that turned into a full-blown relapse. :( I made the decision to smoke until after my vacation. I went to Mexico for a week and just got back yesterday. By the way, I had an amazing time! It was so nice to get away from the snow, cold, and work. (Goofy, there was some serious weather system over Florida that day and I thought of you...) :) Well, I hate to say this, but I am glad I smoked in Mexico. It is so smoker friendly there! I couldn't believe the places we could smoke...basically, anywhere. In Canada and I believe the US, it's so much more restricted. So, here I am. Back in cold Canada and ready to DO THIS! I feel pretty good today. I will probably be checking in a lot on this site for the next little while. I will need some extra help....I wish I were as far along as you guys. But, I will be following you and looking to you for motivation, inspiration, and support. You guys are the best quit buddies. Octobreathers rock! One more try said she started smoking again, and was planning to quit again. In fact I think she said the 14th, that would be today. She was going away, and wanted to stop after she got back. I hope she'll check in with the rest of the Octobreathers. I still would like to see her end the addiction once and for all. I'm still hanging in there, even though the NY Giants almost gave me a heart attack yesterday. I watched the game at a friend's house, and he actually, for the 1st time went outside to smoke. Have a great day. Smokefree! Thank you Goofy, and everyone else! Congrats to you buddy :) Have you heard from OMT lately? I haven't seen her around but then again I haven't been here as often as I used to and there are so many more new people :D It's good to see the newcomers and feel like you're no longer a newbie... you're just a recent newbie :P Congrats to OMT too tomorrow! We'll all be getting to the beach pretty soon :) Can't wait! Then I'll definitely be celebrating big! Did you do anything special this weekend? I unfortunately wasn't feeling too well so I just stayed at home all weekend but at least I got to be quite lazy and rest :) cheers!
