Thank you all for your support! I went through the exercises and got stuck at the 'smoking diary' where I am supposed to record my smokes for several days. Since I already quit, I can maybe look back and fill it, but is it really necessary? I already know that I smoked only when drinking coffee or wine, sitting on the terrace or in a coffeehouse/restaurant/bar. Please don't mind if I post often. My husband smokes two packs a day and there is not much support in the house.

I say eat all the chocolate that you want! You can focus on the weight gain and tooth loss later! Good luck. I like your positive attitude! Welcome! I recommend that you work the workbook here under "Quit Program Tools." It will help you sort out your reasons for quitting, and give you lots of good information. Read the posts and write your own...you will find everyone incredibly helpful. Congratulations on one day quit! Cigarettes Not Smoked

16 years ago 0 14 logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo logo 0
Hi everyone. I am a very fresh non-smoker. I quit once before, for more than a year. This time is for good. I smoked one last cigarette yesterday afternoon, threw away all cigarettes, coffee and wine in the house, and had no serious cravings yet despite people smoking around me last night (NYE). I woke up feeling wonderful. No headache, no cough, no stinking hair :) No real craving so far but staying away from the chocolate is becoming a challenge. I feel lucky to have found this wonderful site.
