No Journal for me either, but I seem to have a weekly thread. :) Actually I am planning to start a journal as I think I am about to receive a diary soon. Lizzie gave me the idea just recently (probably accidentally). I think it is a top idea. No journal for me but I am happy to see that the Moderators do recognize that there is a difference between a trigger and a crave. We may all have benefited if the moderators had stepped in and shared that fact with us some time ago!! ;) Penitent d1332 :)

I completed a mini journal type thing when I was working through the workbook in the first few days of my quit. I guess I haven't felt like I've needed to...but that's when things sneak up on you! Thanks for the tip and I am excited for this new catagory! Have a great evening everyone! Rusty has been telling me to that ever since I came to the site a year and half ago. Did I do it? In the beginning of each quit, did I stay with it? NO  But I did journal several diet logs and in there were notes about how my quit was going. So I kinda of did it. I am just not good at sitting down and writing a journal, sure wish I could. Maybe that is something I could work on. Anyway a great idea. I've been preaching quit journal for three years...I learned it from someone else and lots of folks have found it helpful. You can do it online or in a book. You can add posts that you find helpful, inspirational quotes that speak to you, your list of reasons for quitting and your reward plan. It's a living, breathing dynamic wonder tool! Good idea! My doctor is always on to me to keep a "quit" journal. Maybe I should get one going. Any bit of help is appreciated. Love the new corner!!!! Members, Did you know: Journaling your triggers, cravings and mood helps to reveal problem areas (such as stresses and emotions) and is the first step towards improving behavior? Has this worked for you? Danielle, Bilingual Health Educator
