First revel in the thoughts that you are doing great and progressing with your depression and your quit! Be proud of what you have accomplished and know that you are doing an amazing job! Start by walking away those tight clothes. Use you doctor to help you come up with a plan that is right for you. You can do this, so take your time! P.S ( We will be introducing the Healthy Weight Center in the new year, lots of great advice and tips!) Josie, Support Specialist

You can do it online Lady! Check out it out. You have to write the name.com and go their web site. You can do it all by yourself online, just like quitting smoking.(I lost 14lbs) This is also a bad time of year, the christmas season, I gained a couple this past week too, but will be back in the saddle on Tuesday! Give it a whirl! And don't beat yourself up over it! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 299 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 7,475 Amount Saved: $3,154.45 Life Gained: Days: 36 Hrs: 12 Mins: 42 Seconds: 40

Oh my gosh lady you are a total winner!!! Look at you, you haven't smoked in 2 1/2 YEARS! Just think about how much healthier you are. That Dr. & nurse should be ashamed of themselves for making you feel bad. The most important thing is that you are healthy! You should feel extremely good about yourself. You have an amazing quit going and you have been a MAJOR influence to so many people here. You are a smart, caring and beautiful lady! Don't you forget that! I went to the doctor today for a check up. I was all confident and feeling good because I have successfully cut my depression medicine to half the dosage and have been doing well. Life is great! I'm happy, doing well and just moving right along. The nurse weighed me. I couldn't believe what she said. Ok, yes my clothes have been getting a little tighter but we all know how the dryer shrinks things after a while. I was in shock. It appears I have gained 22 pounds in the last 5 months. I was all excited about the medicine and he says I'm worried about your weight. As if the nurse telling me what I weigh wasn't bad enough. All I needed was a doctor to tell me he's worried on top of it! I left his office feeling really depressed. As a matter of fact, I cried. I now feel so fat and unattractive and just really icky about myself. I know I need to lose weight. I guess I need to get serious about losing weight like I did my quit. I am reminded of many people who don't quit because of gaining weight and I thought if I start smoking again, maybe I will lose weight. A junkie thought I know but it is what I thought and what I'm still thinking about. The thought won't go away. We never did the weight watchers thing at work. There weren't enough people signed up for it. I just feel like a chubby loser now. It really has me upset. I guess I'm reaching out again.
