THANKS my dearest friend! I cannot believe it has been a year. I can't believe I haven't been here since last spring! Holy cow I need to show up more often. I couldn't have succeeded quitting without you (and some others) getting me back on track. Yes, finding out last year I had cancer threw me for a loop and yes, I did give up on myself but your persistence helped me fight for my quit and my cure. Quitting also has helped me "last" this long with my fight. I found out that if I hadn't quit smoing 'again', I would not be here reponding to you right now. Smoking expedites cancer and it lowers the chance of actually beating it.
So, to all you new quitters and ones still struggling, it is SOOOO well worth it. I dont recognize a lot of people now days here but I hope to be an inspiration to at least one person. Just one day at a time is how you succeed.
Hugs
Kim

Congratulations Cheermom on one year quit!!! You are so awesome!
I remember how devastated you were when you found out you had cancer and you threw away your quit. Now, here we are one year later and you are still quit and fighting your cancer.
I'm so very proud of you. You have strength and determination that I haven't ever seen in anyone before. :)
Trust me! You are far from forgotten.
