Bear, shutty. Some people need to hear it like it is. Why sugar coat something that is so serious. Quitting is not for the weak, it is for the strong willed.
We all have different ways of helping others. Without each and everyone of us this support group would be blah. It takes all kinds, from all different parts of the world.
Don't change. You are a bear. Not a kitten.

Oh, my dear Bear you are more helpful than you know. Some of us just have go try and try again. It was "us" that smoked not you. You know it was always nice for me anyway when I came back there were the same people and they had stayed quit. You will never know what seed you planted. It is because of some very special people that were here when I first tried that I continued to keep quitting until I got it right. I am sure there are some out there feel the same way about you. As long as you stay true to yourself and not smoke what better example could there be?
Merry Xmas Bear

Bear,
We are all here for support and knowledge and yours is definitely unique!
You have helped others through their journey, even though they are shy to post :)
You are making a difference, so don't you forget it!

There is for me a touch of irony and a touch of sadness attached to this holiday for it was a little over 9 months that I came here with little or no intention of quitting smoking but here I am nicotine free and with a minimum of doubt that I will remain smoke free from here on in.
The sadness arises when I think of the people that did'nt quite make it this time.I feel that I let them down by not behing as compassionete as I could have been. Hopefully they will return and try again and I can be more supportive.
