I am a assistant superintendent at a golf course. (Been the assistant for 3yrs, but have worked at the course for 7yrs) Or if you have ever seen "caddyshack" I have the same job as Bill Murray! LOL Its really funny, its a fairly high pressure job in the summer as you would imagine. Making sure your crew is doing alright, trying to keep the grass green and disease free dealing with a 30yr old irrigation system, equiptment failers, everything that can get thrown at me does, but I rarely have a problem with anxiety in the summer. Now in the winter, where I only have a crew of two people, grass is not really growing much at all, no worries about irrigation, and I am terrible. Its like this every year, but this winter has been by far the worst for some reason. I think in the summer I am so caught up in maintaining a 220 acre higher end public golf course, that I don't have time to THINK!!
