I have to say that the biggest benefit for me of quitting smoking is the number of wonderful friends I have made. Of course, there are all those others...I don't stink anymore, my clothes don't either, I'm healthier, wealthier and wiswer... but I am so very blessed to have you all in my life. I really didn't have friends before...I had smoking buddies. When I quit smoking, we pretty much parted ways. But you all have stuck with me and stuck together through thick and thin, and that is truly a miraculous thing.
To those who don't know me...please know that three years ago I was amazed when I made it three hours without a cigarette. And then came 3 days, three weeks, three months...and look! One hour at a time, one day at a time I've gotten here. You can do it, too.
Thank you all so much for your love and friendship. Special thanks to the mods...without you, none of this would be taking place.
