Hi Azure,
I also smoked for over 30 years..an pack to a pack and a half a day..If i went out drinking, maybe 2 packs. You know, when i was having a beer or two with friends, I would smoke one every 5 minutes or so. You quit for over a year before, so you have been through this before. It is a mind set. Tell yourself over and over that smoking is not an option...not an option if you get stressed, bored, angry, happy, full of cravings, restless, depressed, so on and so forth. We all need to re learn how to handle all the different situations in our lives without smoking. It was only an escape anyway..an escape that did not work. Read and read. You can do this!
