Thanks Aloha and Penitent :) Well it's been just over 2 hrs since I posted and the craves are greatly calmed down ! YEA ! ! Daylight has arrived and the winds are very fierce and the temp is dropping significantly..brrrrrrrrrrrrr ! THIS cannot stop me from getting out and getting some shopping done and the walk will do me a world of good. A plan is something I learned from my past quits which I need to have at the ready at all times when the cravings hit. I know for a fact that later this afternoon I'm going to be very tired so I'll be sure to lay down, close my eyes, empty my mind and get some much needed rest :) Have a super day and will check back later. Well Done Sam!! No one said it would be easy but one can make it harder than it need be. You are not doing that and therefore you are giving yourself every chance to succeed and I love to see that! Good luck, keep occupied and just keep on keeping on!! You will do this!! Penitent d1294 :)

Hey, that's great, Sam...you've got a plan and you're following it. And you're getting through the craves/urges/thoughts. Only suggestions I have..not that you were asking for any ;) are ....drink lots of cold water, add some meaningful to you self talk, and plan and give yourself some rewards for the awesome job you're doing. Have a wonderful day! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 256 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 10,240 Amount Saved: $1,740.80 Life Gained: Days: 35 Hrs: 16 Mins: 39 Seconds: 30

Had a very restless night .. and now I know why. Many waves of craving. I've had my breakfast, watched some of the news, did the dishes, vacuumed and now ? Well here I am doing some deep breathing exercises while I read as many posts here as I can.. I think I began hyperventilating at one point.. OHHHHHHHHHHH ! Seems as though the craves are subsiding for the most part. But I can't just assume that they won't hit again so I have written out a plan for myself - a variety of activities to keep myself busy.. I've come here to let out my feelings (still taking deep breaths!). Geez when you get these waves they can knock the wind right of you huh ? Ok.. better feed the cats, maybe clean a toilet ? Keepin' busy and then when the sun comes out I'm out for a walk and some food shopping. Thanks for listening :) Sam... breathe in... breathe out... *phew* :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/24/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 9 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 225 Amount Saved: $97.20 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 0 Mins: 51 Seconds: 19
