That was such a great meal Now a cigarette would taste real good.(NOT) That was my biggest one Bear and It rarely crosses my mind to smoke after I eat now. That is a good thing. Thanks for reminding me. Another biggy was first thing in the morning. I 'needed' to smoke to get the day started. (NOT) Again I don't know how long it has been since I had a bad crave in the morning. Thanks for reminding me. This morning as I was shoveling snow from my driveway thanks to our friends in mid western USA the thought crossed my mind that there are many ways to reach the same destination. In our case to get ride of this addiction to nicotine. So I decided to introduce this idea and if one person can relate to it then I have done my job for the day and will be very pleased with myself :) It is the idea of LETTING GO of all the misconceptions that we have about smoking you know the ones. "Man I really did a great job of clearing that snow I should have a smoke to reward myself." (NOT ) or " I'm just so stressed right now if I have a smoke right now I will feel so much better." (NOT) Well you get the picture so how about adding your own misconceptions that you had about smoking that you've managed to let go. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 257 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,626 Amount Saved: $2,570.00 Life Gained: Days: 58 Hrs: 17 Mins: 21 Seconds: 43
