You are doing this! 12 days is huge, the hardest part. Keep going one day at a time, that is all. One hour if you have to! Have trust yourself that this is a positive change in your life. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 328 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,920 Amount Saved: $1,377.60 Life Gained: Days: 30 Hrs: 9 Mins: 21 Seconds: 32

Moss, a wise and wonderful post, I like it. Trust is a powerful thing. I went on Faith, and for me they are very close. I prayed alot also. My Faith has never failed me. Yeah, it is a little like having the seven dwarfs taking up residence inside your body for a bit. Happy, Dopey, Sleepy, Grumpy, Hungry, Angry and Doc :p You are doing great and it's those good days that will carry you through the bad until things even out a bit. We are only a shout away when you need us! WTG, moss, keep it up. But don't forget to have faith & trust in yourself, too. You're the one doing the hard thing, nobody is doing it for you. And, you're doing it really, really well. So thank yourself, pat yourself on the back, brag yourself up a bit, & go get a little reward. No way Bear. I have always trusted bears, and talking horses too. Moss My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/19/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 11 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 165 Amount Saved: $28.88 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 22 Mins: 35 Seconds: 1

You go Moss, Your trust is not misplaced here. I remember feeling the same way. I too just went on blind faith. I now know I can trust because I have proved to myself that I am better for not smoking. I know I am better and you will too. Keep the Faith. What a ride so far!! . Just checking in to say Hey and share a few thoughts. For the last 12 days I've been surprised, delighted, ornery, scared, hopeful, confused, Thankful, tired, hungry, a few more I am forgetting at the moment, and smoke free. After working through the tools, reading the material in the workbook and lots of posts, the word "trust" keeps resonating in my thoughts. I have made it an important part of my plan. Simply put, Trust that the successful quitters, the vets, here are telling me the truth. It does get easier, you will have bad moments and days, they will pass, you will become more positive, The craves will turn to thoughts, the clouds will lift, and so on and so on. I've had some good days and a few tough ones but so far I can say that you all have told me the truth. It is getting easier already. THANK YOU for that. I am still nico free.
