What a ride so far!! . Just checking in to say Hey and share a few thoughts. For the last 12 days I've been surprised, delighted, ornery, scared, hopeful, confused, Thankful, tired, hungry, a few more I am forgetting at the moment, and smoke free.
After working through the tools, reading the material in the workbook and lots of posts, the word "trust" keeps resonating in my thoughts. I have made it an important part of my plan. Simply put, Trust that the successful quitters, the vets, here are telling me the truth. It does get easier, you will have bad moments and days, they will pass, you will become more positive, The craves will turn to thoughts, the clouds will lift, and so on and so on. I've had some good days and a few tough ones but so far I can say that you all have told me the truth. It is getting easier already.
THANK YOU for that. I am still nico free.
