Sue, I'm so sorry for Fred and his family. Sounds like he has been fighting hard for a long time. You have to have amazing spirit to go through chemo and radiation. Sue, Thank you for sharing that, as hard as it was. I'm certain there are others reading that needed that extra nudge to see the reality of smoking. It's so easy to romanticize and shut off the logic of how truly dangerous it is.
