I am also close to my one month mark. Two more days. I am so excited. I have made plans to go out on a date with my husband for the first time in a long time. No kids. This is my prize for not smoking. Keep up the good work Octobreathers!!!!! We're on our way to longer life!! I'm going back to the gym. I just got off the phone with one of my vendors, and I think she'll be joining us. She really wants to quit, but has no willpower. I told her to look up goofy, and the octobreathers. I hope she takes the steps. Way to go guys, and let's get to a month. 15 days smoke-free and I'm feeling fantastic! Thanks to all the support of this site and all you amazing people. I have been running a lot lately because of my new and improved lung capacity. That's probably my favorite change so far. I can run faster and further already! But the extra money is nice too. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 10/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 180 Amount Saved: $61.20 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 5 Mins: 20 Seconds: 48

Checking in....... I am on my third week and it has gotten a bit easier. I had my first smoking dream a couple of days ago and I woke up sweating. In my dream, I smoked a pack in 2 hours. Whew!!!! Although the cravings/urges does not occur as often as it was the first couple of days/weeks, they come on very strong now, but I am able to fight it. I think it's because I am experiencing 'new' things as an ex-smoker, like going to mall for the time since I've quit or having a cold. I will continue to take it day by day, hour by hour, if need be. I never want to go back to smoking! How are all of you October quitters doing? Are you still with us cat?! I will be celebrating one month soon, and I kind of amaze myself, lol! I never thought I could do it. Thank goodness for Chantix and all of the great support on this site! The days are going well for me. Evenings are a little tougher. I seem to have been replacing smoking in the evening with eating junk. My jeans are way snug, and I don't want to buy a size up, so I guess it's time to do something about that. If I can resist the urge to smoke, I should be able to resist the urge to eat junk, right? Well, anyway the important thing is to be smoke FREE! Isn't it great?
