I was just talking to a co-worker and she was saying that she had heard on the news about a "new shot" that will help you quit smoking. So I'm thinking to myself, a professional quitter in my own right, is this the smoking gun?? Then I realize, science is getting better at giving us all kinds of choices in our quest to be smoke free, and they all work. What they can't give us is a cure for the emotional and physical attachment to cigerette's. That we have to do all on our own.
So as we all choose our own weapons to fight the good fight to be smoke free whether it be cold turkey, nicoteen gum, patches, wellbutrin, chantix or anything else, remember, they can all have the potential to work perfectly with the right frame of mind and attitude. You have to have your head in the game to quit smoking. That's why this site is soooo wonderful!
Just my thoughts for the day.
