Panic now.

Hey! I have had about 6 adjustments so far for a neck pain (only on the left side and going up my head and behind my left eye and left temple). They say it's a muscle acting up and there were times when stuff in my neck were out of allighment (both my ciro and massage guy said this). Now I am having issues with something else and I can't help but think this is all because something physcially wrong with me and not because of the panic doing it, it's hard to tell! Today I feel so dizzy and my head hurts, but that could be because of something I am now taking for my stomach (they think it could be from acid reflex or an ulcur) so who the hell knows anymore! It's so fustrating, I was sitting in the ER yesterday for 5 hours hoping to get answers, but at least tomorrow I get some stuff done and a stress test on Wed. So let's start to rule out things one by one...who know's this could be a big cycle.... Sam S

Hey Rebecca...I don't have back pain and panic, but I sometimes start getting panicky when I feel nauseous. One of the symptoms of my panic is nausea. So now whenever I am truly sick with an upset stomach I associate it with the panic attacks and make myself worse. I guess I associate the two with each other and tend to bring them on myself. My only advice to you is to concentrate on your breathing when you feel the panic coming on. Tell yourself repeatedly that there is no need to panic...cry if you need to help relieve some of the anxiety. It may help, it may not...but if YOU are in control of the situation it might help you feel a little better. Wish I could help you more but I can only tell you what works for me. Cheryl

Gina, I think I'll start a journal. I was under chiropractic treatment for the last 3 weeks and it seriously aggravated the physical symptoms and pain I am having now and along with that came the panic attacks back again. I have an appt today to go see a regular Doctor, I'm praying I can drive there. Thanks for the reply.

I am getting waves of panic again today right now. The pain in my back and neck is coming at the same time and setting them off I'm sure. I went through this for hours yesterday also. It's so tiring on my body not to mention it seems to increase the pain I'm getting. I just don't know how to disrupt this cycle. My heart rate is staying up and my face feels super hot. Does anyone else here have a spinal injury and panic attacks??
