Not comfortable with your quit? Think about how long you smoked and then look at your meter. Compare the time you smoked versus the time you have been quit and then cut yourself some slack. It took me over a year and a half to be comfortable with my quit.
DON'T FREAK OUT HERE!!! You are making great progress. It takes time to quit smoking and to adjust to a smoke free life. The point is that no matter what may go wrong in our lives, we will not find the solutions we are looking for in any cigarette. To light up again would be a mistake.
The real reason it took me so long to be comfortable is because of all the emotional issues that I use to mask with the smoking. People around here kept telling me to get some help and I kept fighting back saying I'm not crazy! I am just having a hard time quitting! After 1.5 years, I finally decided to seek help. I was so embarrassed about everyone around here being right that I actually left the site for a while and didn't post. Don't make the mistake I made. Quitting is difficult but there is a point where it becomes more than just quitting. When we quit, we begin a new life. A smoke free life. Some times we need a little help to make that transition. I am truly amazed I was able to hold on to my quit for so long without the extra help I needed. I don't have any idea how I did it except that I had exceptional help from the people on this site.
If you are suffering, get some help.
