Hey Sugarnose! Write down all those reasons for quitting so you can come back to them and add one more thing. You smoked because you were addicted and the cigarettes were killing you! Its time to take back your life! You know the ropes here, do the program again, read all you can! Get ready for an incredible journey! You can do this, you have done it before, you can do it again and go all the way this time! So go get it! You deserve the incredible freedom that comes with quitting! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 231 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,775 Amount Saved: $2,437.05 Life Gained: Days: 28 Hrs: 4 Mins: 23 Seconds: 27

Hi sugarnose! If Tuesday is a good day for you then there you go! You know what your biggest triggers are and where your potential weakness are so only you can account for those. I quit on a Thursday because I wanted to work on my first day so I'd be sure to have something to do. I was off the next three days so I thought it would be good so that I could rest if needed. Between now and Tuesday just be very aware when you do smoke. Remind yourself that you are inhaling toxic chemicals with every drag and keep in mind ALL the things you hate about smoking. As you know, many of those things will be gone within the first week of quitting. Have you thought of some strategies of avoiding or getting through the tough times? Get prepared, get excited and let us know how we can help :) All the best My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/5/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1171 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 23,420 Amount Saved: $5,269.50 Life Gained: Days: 89 Hrs: 10 Mins: 11 Seconds: 46

Sugarnose Welcome back! And congratulations on this great decision. Do you remember how much better you felt earlier this year when you weren't smoking? And how happy your kids were? There are many who believe Tuesday is The Perfect Day to quit. I hope you have made your preparations - something to chew on, lots of water, mini rewards, distractions such as movies, walks. Please pamper yourself. You've done it before, so you've shown yourself you have what it takes to get through the early days. Just keep remembering how good you will feel. And, please, post for help before you light even one single cigarette...okay? Hello, I'm back. I quit for 60 days at the beginning of the year. I have now reached the point to where the cigarettes almost taste bad, tired of my car smelling, tired of my kids coughing and waving their hands in front of their faces, tired of looking at what it's doing to my body, tired of the fear I feel everytime I have a weird pain in my chest. I am 33 for cryin out loud. I should be able to walk up the street without feeling like I'm going to die! I am ready to do this. I am ready to feel great when i wake up! I've set my quit date for this coming tuesday, is there a particular day that might be easier, I didn't choose monday because ya know, it's monday! but maybe that's a cop out????? Glad to be back, could use a fired up pep talk!!
