I am not new to this, so I ask the question, is it me or does it seem that on the very day you try to quit smoking, everyone, and I mean everyone around you is smoking? It is as if those people are the real life figures of all of the voices in your head that tell you to smoke. I was driving to work and I promise, cross my heart, the car in front of me, behind me, and beside me were all smokers!!!
Please, I need some confirmation that I am not losing it and that at least one other person has experienced this.
I'm okay, my worse craving was walking to work from the parking garage and smelling the smoke, other than that, cravings have been mild. But, I am used to this on the first day (I've tried this 4 other times), it is the second, third days that are real hard because the nicotine starts leaving the body, completely!
Thanks for listening and affording me the opportunity to just vent! I feel great and much different this time, I KNOW that I will do this, nothing will stop me!
HAVE A GREAT MONDAY!
