Do you have OCD? (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) That keeps you dwelling a lot. I'll have a song I love and then it gets stcuk in my head. I try and change it to another song and sometimes it works. During the time we were in hiding from Hurricane Frances, I had a Blue Oyster Cult song stuck in my head. I love the song, but I wanted it OUT! I get thoughts that race through my head. They could be good thoughts at first, but sometimes they turn to bad thoughts. When they start to multiply, that is the time to do something. Get up, go for a walk, excercise, take a cold shower. Go talk to someone you know. Do anything to break the cycle. Worst time it happens is at work. David

Blu3, The double edged sword is that the dwelling increases your anxiety which makes you dwell more (believe me I know this first hand in regard to different thoughts). You said it yourself, she is the most stable force in your life and you know she isn't cheating. Folow your own words and stop the dwelling. Best wishes!
