I accept that I lived addicted & in denial for many, many years. I can no longer accept that kind of life. Now I accept that I have an obligation to myself & the people who love me, to live healthier, and to be present in my own & their lives.
To meet that obligation, I must accept that I can never smoke again, not even one.
I also accept that I can either enjoy Haagen Dasz, beer and chocolate on a regular basis or I can be a size 6, not both. That was the hardest.
