A31 The ones with short answers. A32 Did you attention span shorten when you stopped smoking? A30: I'd say just recently for me..about 6 months in. But it has been gradually decreasing for months. After I got through the 90-100 day hump it really got much easier. Q31: Other than this thread, what is one of your all time favorite threads, and why? A29: Yes, the long timers definitely do help. I love reading about all their experiences. Q30: When did you first notice that quitting (or not smoking) was no longer at the forefront of your day? What a great game!!! A-28 Cold Turkey and it was hard too! Q-29 Do the quitters with a lot of time on their meters help you to stay quit or do you think they are too far removed to understand what you are going through? A-27 For me it has not been a question of "could I" or "couldn't I" quit. It has been a matter of making a decision that smoking is no longer an option for me. I don't think I have ever truly made that decision in earlier quits. I would always "try", which gave me a subtle message that I might not make it. (of course I'm still early in the quit...) Q-28 What method did you use to quit? (cold turkey, NRT, meds) Lori My Milage: My Quit Date: 9/29/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 11 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 110 Amount Saved: $22.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 2 Mins: 2 Seconds: 32

Glad everyone is enjoying this game :) A25 : I may be over qualified to answer this question :) To be given an element of hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel and it gets brighter every day. Q26 : What side effect of quitting (good or bad) were you not expecting to happen in your quit, but did?
