Well, you all know I'm still here :)
Have gotten through some emotional times without smoking. I think those are the roughest for me. So, as I continue this journey I'm going to keep working on feeling and expressing those pesky emotions in healthier ways. And of course without smoking.
I'm proud to be part of such a wonderful group of quitters. We rock, March Mellows! Yeah, what happened to PRB? Anybody know?

I'm happy to be checking in still too.
Coudn't have got here without this site.
Not smoking is great.
Sometimes I do have a little flash of forgetfulness and think of the reward coming up when I'm finished doing something.
Or just recently I was going to meet a friend and wondered if she would be on time. Imagined me sitting waiting for her and thought I'd be able to smoke a couple of cigarettes before she came but then remembered....
Went to the tip yesterday (I think you might call it the dump). There is always a big long queue for it and I always used to sit there and smoke while creepng forward so took the paper to read instead!! (It's OK I didn't crash)
Anyway, I hope all the other March Mellows are doing OK.
Gen

I'm happy to be checking in. I'm still around and my quit is stronger than ever. In fact I am finally feeling more and more confident that I will never go back to that nasty habit.
We've been planning a family vacation and for the first time I don't have to panic about:
Where I could sneak a smoke (remember I was a total closet smoker) - did room/house/etc have a balcony, remote areas where I wouldn't be spotted, etc ?
Supply - risk my family finding my cigs if my bag was searched at airport OR if I traveled without any, would I be able to get cigs easy and fast when we got to our destination?
What I'd do at a resort like so many that now are non-smoking properties.
None of these things matter anymore and it feels so good. Also no grouchiness because I'm having major withdrawals that nobody knows about. This time, they'll all see how easy-going I REALLY am!
Hope all the other March Mellows are feeling this great!

Another new month is beginning and we seem to be dwindling in numbers, or at least not posting much anymore. We are all over the six month mark and coming up to seven. So pop in and tell us how you're doing! :)
