Blue Cloud. I'm so proud of you and your 90 days! How awesome! What is your big 100 day reward? Make it really good, something you wouldn't want to give up! (no smoking cannot be a reward ;p ) Get out that attitude of gratitude. I know what you mean about the blues. I had them most of the weekend (up and down) but this morning I heard from a friend who has been battling breast cancer. She will have surgery by the end of the year and no one can tell her how much time that will buy her. The cancer has really spread too much. She is my age and had 3 kids the ages of mine (20, 14 & 6). Kind of put things in perspective for me after talking to her for a while. We really are blessed. I decided this weekend that I need to spend less time in my head and more on my knees. Oh my dear Blue Cloud, sorry you are in a funk. You can use my line if you want. When I read that you ate your way to work, I thought of Gonna Do It. She literally bit her steering wheel after having lunch with a smoking friend. Now that is a crave. Yes we hit those "milestones", but what are they really? Another day just another day that we do not smoke. We know we are special and everyday we go with out smoking is a milestone. So pick yourself up and smile. You are doing so great and I am so proud of you. Congratulations on 90 days, and think about your health the next time the urge hits you...because there will be a next time unfortunately. My mistake was thinking I could have just one and I blew a 60+ day quit..I now know that having one means I will become a smoker again. I work with Cancer Patient's, and I see it every day. Dieing of lung and throat cancer from smoking is not a pretty thing to watch...that one cig you crave is not worth the damage done to your body. Stay strong! It's probably Tuesday by the time you read this so I hope the Monday Blues have blown away and that today will be easier. Well done for that talking to you gave yourself. The first one WOULD taste awful and it WOULD make you dizzy and WOULD make you feel sick. Better off not giving it a try - especially when you're doing so well. Best wishes, Gen My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/28/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 187 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,992 Amount Saved: 935.00 Life Gained: Days: 24 Hrs: 19 Mins: 29 Seconds: 21

You're doing so awesome, blue cloud! The milestone craves are common, just the junkie hoping to get some attention while we're all proud of ourselves. She thinks she should be rewarded for being quiet for awhile. WRONG, you get the reward, not her. Keep it up, stay positive & keep kicking junkie ash!
