Thanks guys! Rusty, you and Pen were big motivators. I forgot to mention that I will be seeing a therapist, hopefully through the EAP because it would be free, to learn the tools and coping skills so that someday hopefully I would not have to take the medication at all. She had no doubts that with a little help I could be good as new :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 235 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,700 Amount Saved: $658.00 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 22 Mins: 1 Seconds: 5

Thst's great. Audrey....I'm glad for you. I think a lot of people don't know about Employee Assistance Programs. Lots of large companies have them, as do governments. I work for state governmen amd I was able to get a confidential referral to a counselor to help me with anger management and mood swings after I quit. It really helped me a lot. I encourage anyone not to suffer alone or think you are crazy. Just get help if you need it. Some of you wanted to know the outcome of a doctor visit which was prompted by some anxiety attacks (possibly brought on by nicotine deprivation, ie: our crutch). It's all good. Some of my worst fears about what I was suffering from were quelled. I got an anti-anxiety med that I can take when I know I will be encountering a panic situation (I am lucky because many who suffer from panic attacks have no idea when they will happen and they live in constant fear of them happening). Oh and oops I bared all to my HR manager (I didn't think we had an employee assistance program) because I was overwhelmed by the list of doctors to choose from and wanted guidance. Only to find out she recommended I see my regular doctor and that we DO have an EAP! Well she didn't send in the white coats and she is so proud of my stopping smoking and congratulated me on beating such odds! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 235 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,700 Amount Saved: $658.00 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 22 Mins: 0 Seconds: 5
