Six months.
Six months. Half a year as a non-smoker, Lainie... and I know how far away that seemed when you started. Well... you made it, and the future is looking better, and better, isn't it?
I'm extremely proud of you, Lainie. I'm proud of all the March Mellows, because we've gone to war together, and most of us are still here to tell the tail. But you, in particular, because we started at the same time... and we supported each-other when we were at our weakest. We clung onto hope, together.
Well, we're still here, and we're not weak anymore. We're alot stronger than we were, and most of the time... we feel like what we are; non-smokers. Considering all the years we relied on that stuff to get us through the day, to have made such a huge change is... remarkable.
And so are you, Lainie. You are remarkable. :)
I'm so glad you've been here since day 1 for me, and I'm so glad that I'm here today to share your 6 months with you.
I wish you a life-time of freedom from the cigarettes, but most of all I wish you freedom for today. Congratulations, Lainie! You've done a wonderful thing!
