OK, I was a newbie once, still am by some standards. Consider this frosh week on the SSC!
We're having a honking big party at the treehouse for all the newbies, any lurkers who might be thinking we're all crazy(a treehouse party will prove it beyond doubt), and all mid-timers & long-timers who might feel up for a little celebration.
Here's how it works:
The treehouse is the MayFlowers quit clubhouse but of course all quitters are always welcome. It is a big multi-level treehouse built in a solid old oak tree in a field somewhere outside of Milwaukee. There are fragrant wildflowers whose scent is carried on a refreshing breeze, there is a fresh-smelling lake across the field and the weather is always perfect. The treehouse has a punching bag, a cooler full of nozzly things ( or nozzle thingy's, whichever), a barrelful of sunflower seeds, a bucket of coffee straws & a tub of candies & mints. It's magical so it also has whatever else you might need to get a final quit started or keep a good one going. We also have movies, popcorn, a band (Please, a round of applause for the NRT's & their freakin' gorgeous manager, ANNA!!!!)
This is a newbie party, so the cover charge for newbies (somebody has to pay for that Canadian beer & all the Alberta beef on the bbq) is your quit story & a question. The cover for mid-&longtimers is their quit story & an answer to a newbie question.
Let's get this party started!
