New me, thanks, and a huge congrats on your first 100!! That first 3 digit marker feels great doesn't it? :) Windy, you're almost at your 1 year anniversary! Now THAT is great to see, and a huge motivator to me!! Thanks for your kind words! Penguin, I hope so :) I'm workin' on it!! Thanks, Ladybug!! And yes, that's kinda how I feel, too. I feel like I crossed some invisible finish line. There's still something of the smoker left... but there's almost no threat left at all. I'm usually happy as a clam to be living just as I am; smoke-free!! Yes, Lizzie!! :) I KNOW I can handle it! That's perfect! That's just how I feel. I'm very comfortable in that knowledge, and I'm really enjoying life without a smoke!! Sometimes it all seems surreal. I'm enjoying my life without a smoke... Wow... I really am! John, I don't know which post that was, but I'm very glad I wrote it! :) We've all been very lucky to have been encouraged and strengthened by your example and positive attitude! You and Sue have brought a lot of light to these boards, and we've all benefitted by that! And, LOL!! ...Yes, the men are outnumbered around here, and as nice as that often is, sometimes we need to compare notes with another guy!! Actually, I think many guys just have a problem admitting that they need support to quit smoking. Well, not me. And obviously not you. So... good for us! :) Aloha, you've always been one of those key quitters I've looked to for motivation, and you've ALWAYS supplied that!! You're bright, committed, articulate and caring! That's quite a combination!! Lolly, I'm just plain glad to see you! :) Thank-you...for everything. Boxerfan, I am... and very, very grateful!! Thank-you!! Thank-you...all of you! Hi LL, Well I am so happy that I managed to log in tonight!!! I've had wall to wall visitors and no time over the past week or so and it would have been so awful to miss your 6 month anniversary! Look at you! It's just so fantastic! I cannot tell you how happy I am for you and what you have achieved. As you say, "I can live as I chose, compelled by nothing." What a really amazing thing to be able to say Cody! I am so proud for you! Now you can really say, NEVER LOOK BACK, THE FUTURE IS AHEAD!!! Love Lolly. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 11/25/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1013 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 35,455 Amount Saved: 5,065.00 Life Gained: Days: 144 Hrs: 21 Mins: 11 Seconds: 14

Hi Lamplighter, This is THE big celebration - this is the one that hurt, the one that took all the work. This is the biggest milestone! :) :) :) I'm not saying that you are through with everything yet, but you know you can handle it. It took a lot of courage to do what you have done. Courage, determination and of course, belief....whether that is self-belief or a belief in something higher (either will work!). Six months is the start of something much better. Congratulations my friend, Lizzie :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/23/2003 Smoke-Free Days: 1595 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 23,925 Amount Saved: 5,981.25 Life Gained: Days: 159 Hrs: 12 Mins: 58 Seconds: 35
