Ok I will be the first newbie to go to the treehouse! Besides I hate to miss a good party. I can't believe the thousands of cigarettes all you guys have not smoked, count them up, it is amazing when you realize. I can't wait until my number hits the thousand, I am going to reward myself with a day at the spa! What have you guys all done to reward yourselves lately? John? Sue? I feel so out of the loop. :quest: :( If I'm lost, you can just imagine what the newbies are feeling here. Newbies... we try to break some of the discomfort of the quit with a little humor here and there. Jump on in. Laughter is good for the soul and good for the quit too. Laugh those craves away. It really does help!!!! now what a good idea this is! I can sit here all night and wait for someone to show up...cause that's how I am. I'll get the coffee brewing, the fruits cut up, and the bagels and muffins baking. Never let it be said that aloha doesnt know how to please fellow campers...esp in treehouses...on the balcony or not.... lol...reminds me of the deluxe treehouse my brother and our friends built when I was 12...three stories, multiple windows, oh what fun. Ok, enough reminiscing... I'm gonna start making the playlist for the NRTs....I guess we can start with Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, just as a reminder of why we're all here. Moving on to a nice wake up tune, Zip Ah De Doo Dah! A good community morning song, "I'm Free!" Then, hopefully, everyone will be ready for the first No Smokey Hokey Pokey of the day. Hey! Anybody heard from PRB lately? he's got the limbo pole! Plus the key to any and all lyrics I've ever requested. OK, back to the kitchen....come on in and enjoy, everyone (notice the comma)....lol.....eats bamboo shoots and leaves ;) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 161 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,440 Amount Saved: $1,094.80 Life Gained: Days: 22 Hrs: 11 Mins: 1 Seconds: 15

I also forgot to mention, there are usually some really happy nekkid people at the treehouse. There's nothing to look at, folks. We're all there or gonna be there, just move along. I forgot to mention, the treehouse has balconies and Sue & John are not, under any circumstances, allowed anywhere near them. OK, I was a newbie once, still am by some standards. Consider this frosh week on the SSC! We're having a honking big party at the treehouse for all the newbies, any lurkers who might be thinking we're all crazy(a treehouse party will prove it beyond doubt), and all mid-timers & long-timers who might feel up for a little celebration. Here's how it works: The treehouse is the MayFlowers quit clubhouse but of course all quitters are always welcome. It is a big multi-level treehouse built in a solid old oak tree in a field somewhere outside of Milwaukee. There are fragrant wildflowers whose scent is carried on a refreshing breeze, there is a fresh-smelling lake across the field and the weather is always perfect. The treehouse has a punching bag, a cooler full of nozzly things ( or nozzle thingy's, whichever), a barrelful of sunflower seeds, a bucket of coffee straws & a tub of candies & mints. It's magical so it also has whatever else you might need to get a final quit started or keep a good one going. We also have movies, popcorn, a band (Please, a round of applause for the NRT's & their freakin' gorgeous manager, ANNA!!!!) This is a newbie party, so the cover charge for newbies (somebody has to pay for that Canadian beer & all the Alberta beef on the bbq) is your quit story & a question. The cover for mid-&longtimers is their quit story & an answer to a newbie question. Let's get this party started!
