Yay!! (on the quit. It's like squishing a bad bug that's been biting/infecting you:) You're not alone quig... Come back whenever you have a nasty craving to deal with - or any time you just need to talk/share feelings... I do... and it helps tremendously. sleep tight, mk My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 6 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 90 Amount Saved: $22.50 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 17 Mins: 0 Seconds: 9

Hey quig, yes you can do this! it is a great gift to yourself. Good you got rid of the last one. It helps to prepare, that's why people are mentioning the quit tools - the workbook, the glove compartment, etc. Are you going cold turkey? Drink lots of water, remember that each crave only lasts a few minutes. The main thing, just don't light up -it will get easier. Reward yourself every day you don't smoke. I'll bump up a thread called Free and Low Cost Rewards for you. Welcome and I look forward to watching your quit grow. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 151 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,040 Amount Saved: $1,026.80 Life Gained: Days: 21 Hrs: 3 Mins: 43 Seconds: 52

Hello. I told my live-in girlfriend that I was quitting today. I finished all my cigarettes last night. On my way out the door going to work, I saw a single cigarette. I grabbed it and lit up, but I truly hope that it was the last cigarette that I will have. So, here I am, and I just wanted to say hello and to wish me luck...had kind of a bad start but I can do this... cheers, quig
