"I had Just started to take a nap but was attacked by cramps, guess I've let myself get dehydrated somehow." Hi Greger, It's good to see you here. I'm glad you're doing so well. Congrats on 3 days smokefree. Just keep getting those days behind you. Concerning cramps and getting dehydrated, be sure and drink plenty of water (ice water worked best for me). It became my new best friend and really helped with the craves too. I know the heat is bad (here too) and it sounds like your job is pretty high pressure tomorrow but please do whatever you have to do to just get through the day. Keep drinking water. My best to you. You're doing great! Greger Good for you for recognizing the possible triggers tomorrow. Now you just need to get some coping strategies ready. Did you take a break to smoke, or just smoke at your work station? If you took a break, it's a good idea to take a break once in a while and do something else...take a brief walk, have some juice, read something funny, do a crossowrd or word find, come visit us ;p If you smoked while you worked, have something to suck on - a straw, a lollipop, mints, half of a pen. And just keep doing what you've been doing..lots of water, deep breaths. And, if any of your employees mysteriously disappear this week, I promise not to tell. After all, you're doing a good thing by setting a no-smoking example. Think of the potential lives you're saving. That should balance things out. -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 150 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,000 Amount Saved: $1,020.00 Life Gained: Days: 20 Hrs: 23 Mins: 50 Seconds: 28

Day three is moving along nicely. Day four wont be quite so nice, I've got to deal with chain smoking employees, high stress arithmetic and instantaneous fabrication of whatever the front office forgot to tell me about last week but needs first thing Monday morning. The temperature in my shop hits about 105 by noon and stress levels go off the charts. 2 or 3 new jobs for disney/epcot will be going into the works and a huge maple circular stair to finish. I have no intention of even thinking about having that one cigarette that would make all that stuff better and easier to deal with since it really wont make anything easier and I'm on a roll now and plan to prove to my hired help just how easy it is to quit smoking without killing anyone that makes the least little mistake. I expect to hear nothing but yessir, nosir, and right away sir. All in all the same sort of Monday that everybody has to face and I'm sure it will all go well.

Hey Gregor, You can do This, I smoked 40 years, and I Did it, right here, What is that saying,!!! ''When the Going Get's Tough, The Tough Get Going, I always preferred the one about, ''Get The Eye Of The Tiger,'' like Rocky Balboa, You will be suprised just how much Grit You got in You, When Your journey gets a little bumpy, You reach down for that extra strength, My strength was always, Motivation and Positive Attitude, People on this website taught me that, When People on here from around the World are cheering and supporting You to Quit, where else can You turn to accomplish Your goal of kicking Your addiction, Just stay close to this website for the next few months, Just remember, We are stronger in Numbers, Good luck in Your journey, Smokless In Oklahoma :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/10/2003 Smoke-Free Days: 1623 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 48,690 Amount Saved: $6,946.44 Life Gained: Days: 379 Hrs: 13 Mins: 16 Seconds: 26
