bear, You have made 147 days and this is commendable. You are smoke-free and have all the benefits that come along with this new and improved life :) This freedom will over power the negative thinking and keep you on track to a new found life :) Josie, Support Specialist

Bear, I think what we are to believe is that life is full of choices. I tell my 3 children all the time that when you do good things, good things happen to you. When you do bad things, bad things happen to you. We are all creatures of free will. We have the right to choose the kind of life we will live. A life of addiction is there for the taking. So is a life of happiness and meaning. The choice is always ours to make. So are the consequences that accompany the decisions we make. Just my opinion. Take what you want and leave the rest. Is this what I'm supposed to believe ?? If it is'nt nicotine will it be alcohol, cocaine, heroin. Am I to live the rest of my life in a "on guard position " always fearful that down the road that there may be another sustance or behaviour that will trigger the addict in me.Scary thoughts. :8o: My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/20/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 147 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,646 Amount Saved: $1,470.00 Life Gained: Days: 33 Hrs: 14 Mins: 37 Seconds: 58
