I can think of 2 things! I think my teeth are much healthier b/c brushing them often keeps me from wanting to smoke. And also I don't put on as much perfume, lol. Just breathe....ahhhhhh My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/16/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 2 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 40 Amount Saved: $9.60 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 6 Mins: 16 Seconds: 4

    Cigarettes Not Smoked

It helps me to think about the positive changes my body made because I choose not to smoke. When I had almost 2 months to feel my body heal before I slipped but got back to my quit (so glad I did!) I realize amazing things that are different. I used to have some weird red bumps behind my ears and close to my hairline. They didn't hurt but sometimes they'd itch and were annoying. After a few weeks of not smoking they went completely away! I thought it might be encouraging to start a thread so we can all share positive changes we experience from not smoking. It would be great to come back to for some inspiration when we need it:) The common ones are always good to hear, but weird and less commonly heard benefits are fun to read about too - so we can Believe it, or not!:) Thanks in advance! mamakitty My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/14/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 4 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 60 Amount Saved: $15.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 11 Mins: 32 Seconds: 4
