I know there are congratulations going on in the Tuesday parade, but I thought Phil deserved another, just for his one year, thread.
From what I've heard, Phil, you had some really rough times, although by the time I got here a little past your half way mark you seemed to be doing pretty well....with a few strong urges after that, but never once did i see you consider caving in. You have been a very very positive role model for me. And I thank you for that {hug}
You were the first one to seek me out to offer support, Phil. You checked in with me regularly to make sure I was doing okay with my quit. I appreciate that, too, Phil {hug}
You let me know that concentrating on the positives and avoiding whining was okay, that I didn't have to take care of people who didn't have the resolve to do this, that my main focus early on needed to be my own quit. I so needed to hear that. Thank you. {hug}
You were there on im early morning your time, before bed my time so many times. You were always willing to give me something else to think about..loved those gardening talks.. Thank you for putting me to bed on a good note {hug}
More than once you made me laugh, made me smile. I miss you on a daily basis, but whether you choose to be here or not, I will always hold you in my heart as a positive example of How To Quit.
From the bottom of my heart, Phil
Mahalo nui loa and many many {{{{{{hugs}}}}}}
