Members, Some studies have shown that menopause occurs at an earlier age than in non-smokers. It has also been shown to aggravate symptoms of menopause. Good thing your all quit! Lady, did u forget that I'm coming back to ATL? LMAO You're in trouble now! Thanks all, I have been to the doctor but he didn't sugest much, just said it was that time. Whatever I'd heard about hot flashes but never in my wildest dreams could have pictured this. Oh well, Ms. Lady I'm glad there's a pool where u live now! Make sure you keep your air conditioner working well. Cuz you're not gettin any younger, lol. Brat! I owe you one! I'm doin ok today. It does get really tough when I get a crave and a hotflash at the same time. OMG the anxiety is just terrible. And yesterday, along with that I was dealing with a headache and awful cramps. All of this at the same time, not to mention the hormone stuff going on & then to have to tell my junkie to shut up, SHEESE, it was really really hard. But later in the evening got much better & I was so glad I made it through without a slip or relapse :) Today is much better. I'm only concerned about today & I'm still very motivated & excited to be smoke-free! Honestly though when all that stuff is happening at the same time, I don't feel very excited about anything LOL.
