Kat Welcome to this site. You're doing great so far! I think it's important to look at this as a positive thing. A gift you're giving yourself-health, smelling good, more money to spend on other things. Treat yourself kindly over the next few days and weeks. It does get better..and you definitely don't want to go through those first few days again. We're here if you need us. Can you make a promise that you will post a message with the word Help in the title before you take a single puff? Then go take a bath or a shower and come back and someone will be there to talk you through the craving if you still feel it. It might have passed by then :) -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 134 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,360 Amount Saved: $911.20 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 18 Mins: 7 Seconds: 47

Hi Kat - it's great you've had your sister's support in the first few days. From now you'll have to get your support somewhere else, and I know of no better place than right here! So post away, read lots - especially during the tough times - oh, and congratulations on making the best decision of your life!! kat Listen and learn from your sister. I'd be willing to bet that she has developed a number of deflective exercises that allow her to decline the cigarettes. You'll need to develop a strategy of your own if you have not yet done so. But in any case i encourage you to take this to the nth degree, the results will be worth all of the effort. Stay quit and well nonic My Milage: My Quit Date: 12/25/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 220 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 6,600 Amount Saved: $1,540.00 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 6 Mins: 6 Seconds: 48
