Thanks guys, I'm feeling better this morning. Mornings aren't hard for me. I've notice that my harder time is right after supper and threw the night. I'm still in that mixte feeling stage....Sometimes i feel so proud of myself and want to go on.....Other times, i'm battling with my negative thoughts. Like right now...my mind is playing tricks on me. In about a half an hour i'm leaving for my first long car trip (4 hours)since i have stop smoking. Plus we're doing an up and down...so that means that i will be 8 hours in my car today. Smoking in the car was one of my relaxing time. So i'm a little anxious....my mind is telling me that this will be the hardest drive ever. The other side of me is saying....just get threw it and you'ill be so proud. Just have to believe that i'm stronger than those nicotine sticks. Have a good day everybody. I'll give you the scoop when i come back tonight. stef, It is all worth it......really really, really Smoking sucks and that is the truth What the heck are you jealous about when you see people smoking???? Please review the post Junkie Thinking: A survival Guide..or the Oddest or Funniest thing you ever told yourself..or whatever it is called I think maybe your 30 day milestone collided with the full moon too closely Take a nice long bath or shower, drink some yummy cold water, take some deep breaths and rest, dear, rest. You'll feel so much better in the morning And if you don't...eat a creamsicle ;) -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 133 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,320 Amount Saved: $904.40 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 12 Mins: 43 Seconds: 54

Tomorrow will be better, Stef & there will be more & more better & better days. If you read some of the earlier posts from our longtimers, you will see the proof. Tonight, I went for a 90-minute walk including up & down 2 sets of 34 stairs, 3 times each. I don't do a leisurely stroll either, I go like I'm going somewhere. A month ago, a 1/2 hour no incline walk would have been all I could do. I'm looking forward to running again, & I would never even think about that if I was still smoking. What I'm saying is, focus on the positive aspects of YOUR quit, don't be jealous of the smokers, pity them because they don't have whatever it is that you value out of your 30 days. They for sure don't have the head start on a long, healthy life that you've given yourself by quitting at your age. They're still getting sucked in be the lies the tobacco companies tell. Pity them. Then look forward to all the wonderful things still in store for you as you progress. You're doing awesome, this is a difficult part for many but it doesn't last long & you will feel so strong & confident when you come out of it. I'm really proud of you for posting & not caving. I thought i was having an okay day today. But now it's past midnight and i'm trying to fall asleep but i can't. I'm thinking of how a nice smoke would relaxe me right now and help me go to sleep. So instead of going to buy some i decided to come here and write my frustration. I get soooo MAD at those cigarette companies that gets rich everyday buy killing so many people. Don't they have a heart...how can they work there and sleep at night. Why is that drug legal and on the market where we can see it everyday. Whenever i go put gas in my car i find myself staring at the cigarette boxes and wondering if this was the right time to quit. Then i remember that there will never be a good time to quit. I find myself searching for people who smokes and i tell myself how lucky they are. I KNOW THIS IS STUPID BUT I CAN'T HELP MYSELF. I know i'm the lucky one who finally stoped smoking and taking control over my life. Will it always be a constant battle like this? Will i ever be content and happy again? Cause i really don't think i'll be able to go threw this forever!!! PLEASE, may tomorow be a better day.
