Thanks you guys! :) 5 months feels good. Really good! I still have my struggles here and there, but nothing like they used to be. Most of the time I just feel very grateful to be a non-smoker... and to finally be heading in the right direction. I wasted a lot of years suckin' on those smokes, enslaved to the nicotine, damaging my body, risking my future and hurting those around me. It feels good to have turned that around, even this late in the day. I wish I'd managed to do it back when I first met Pen, Lizzie, John W., Tresa, Lolly and others... but I didn't. So, this is it... This time there can simply be no going back. And what would there be to go back to? Nothing. There never was. Nope. No more delusions. Today I live as I was meant to live. Everyone of us here at SSC is in the process of saving our own lives. And together, we try to make that happen... for ourselves and each-other. This is a good place. I'm glad to be a part of it. I'm glad to be one of you.
