Audrey... What a special thing to say. Thank you.
The only reason I understand is because I've been where you are. Many come here and the quit seems to be over in a few weeks and they are on with their new life. I struggled for about a year. I don't say that much because I don't want to scare newer quitters but it is the truth. I struggled for many reasons, most of them my emotions so I understand and recognize it immediately when I see someone else doing the same. I felt so alone and like no one understood what was going on with me. Fortunately for me, there were the few that grabbed my hand and refused to let me go. I'm just trying to pay it forward. You are doing an awesome job!
You don't have to steer. You will reach your destination and then look back in awe of yourself. It truly is a remarkable journey.

What has your journey brought you?

It has introduced me to this "Lady" who seems to understand all that I am going through...Don't you ever leave here!!
PS: There better be some secret destinations because with me steering this ship I have no idea which direction to go, albeit I'd like to hit land one day :)

All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware. ~Martin Buber
What an understatement! Especially in a quit. The journey of the road less traveled. So many want to quit but think they can't. So many wish they were quit, but don't. We have chosen the road less traveled.
What an adventure quitting has been. A soul-searching, life changing experience. One of self-discovery, changing relationships, renewing expectations, daring dreams, and character building.
