I just had to bump this for all the newbie's wondering if they are doing the right thing. Thanks Mrs. Kool, for sharing your husband with us. He made this quit, the last quit for many.

To Mrs Joe Cool,
I just read this today and am sorry that you may never read my thanks to your husband.
My first post before reading your husbands was a post to complain about some cigarette cravings I was having.
I feel so ashamed for wanting such a destructive thing as a cigarette after reading the post from your husband....and then yourself.
I believe in my heart that your husbands courage has saved lives.
In the mean time.... believe in what the bible says.
That...God has promised we will all be together again.
God Bless
Mercy

Dear Mrs. Cool,
I am so very sorry for your loss. I'm crying so hard from reading this thread it's hard for me to string together a meaningful sentence. Thank you for coming here to share and help, just as Joe did. May you know how to live life only better and more fully after having weathered such a tremendous loss and may your son come into a good world surrounded by many who love him. In spirit, I send you the very best I've got.

Wow. Insperation seems too trivial a word to use for Joe Cool. I read the entire string of posts and feel so sad and happy right now. I'm just glad I didn't smoke today. My 10 year old son is sitting right here watching cartoons.
Thanks Joe...for watching over us.

I've been touched by the lives of the saints in this world and the next today, and I am profoundly, unspeakably moved.
With nothing but hope and good thoughts for the future, for Mrs. Joe, and especially for Joe Jr., and with reverence for the newest St. Joseph...
