Congrats on your 134 days. That's really, really awesome, especially after 50 years. My dad has been a heavy smoker for over 50 years. He won't quit because he says that everyone he knows that quits dies. That's his story and I guess he's sticking with it. I am using Chantix. Been like a miracle actually! Only thing is that I am not sleeping well at night. But that's OK. Gives me more time to read or crochet! Even though I don't know you, I am so proud of your accomplishment! WOW 134 days! That's awesome. Can't wait until I can say that. Today is my 4th day- one thing that has been easier is that I haven't been around any people! LOL. My son is 17 and gone most of the time and my husband has been traveling with his job. I pick him up at the airport tomorrow, so back to the real world for me. I printed out my emergency coping plan and I am going to keep it in my purse. Congrats on your 134 days! Welcome, luvlambs Congratulations on your decision and on your three days! I took chantix and found this quit to be much much easier than any of my earlier attempts. Sounds like you are finding it to be relatively easy, too. I still sometimes struggle with the mental aspect of it, especially during stressful times and a few certain times of the day, but overall not too hard to handle. Bottom line is I feel so much better and am positive I will not smoke - ever, no matter what, as long as I keep in mind that one puff will lead to a million. I'm looking forward to accompanying you on this journey -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 134 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,360 Amount Saved: $911.20 Life Gained: Days: 18 Hrs: 18 Mins: 8 Seconds: 33

Well done for your awesome decision LuvLambs - stick around, read lots, post and you'll be fine. I think the fact this is not your first quit will make this quit stonger and you'll succeed this time - you now have the benefit of hindsight! Anyway welcome!!
