Hey, Gumby. Congrats on day 14!! My advice is to stay with the program & make note of how you feel & what is going on when you step down to the lower levels. That might give you a hint as to how you will handle being off the patches altogether. That way, you can put a plan in place. There's no way to know ahead of time how you will react. Stay positve, look forward to being nicotine free as a goal, plan a reward & take one day at a time. I heve been "nekkid" & nicotine free for 4 full days, I followed my own advice & I feel fabulous! That's just my experience, maybe it will work for you too. Gumby, Every body will react differently. The important issue is to be prepared for a tough crave or no crave at all. Continue on the patch program and follow it to the letter, it is designed to help you step down gradually and minimize those craves. Do a search for patches and stepping down. There are many threads with information and experience that can assist you :) Josie, Support Specialist

Congratulations on 14 fantastic days! You should be very proud! You've made it through the most difficult part of this journey :) I don't have any experience with patches, but I'm sure some others will chime in here to share their experiences with you. So far so good with quitting but I am worried as to how I may feel after I have stopped using the patches. Can anyone out there enlighten me as to what cravings I may have then? Do you still feel the dependancy?
