well, if you dont have an ocean to float in, i think the bath is a very good idea : ) Keep on keeping on, kev. What are your plans for the weekend? -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 127 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 5,080 Amount Saved: $863.60 Life Gained: Days: 17 Hrs: 17 Mins: 18 Seconds: 38

I've managed to hold on to the positive vibe so far. I also managed to get some more sleep last night. I think that might make a big difference. Plus is is Friday, and the sun is out for a bit. I promise to my SSC friends and my quit buddy that I WILL NOT SMOKE TODAY. Nance, coincidentally, I did manage to find a new word for that negative word. 'Quit Buddy Appreciation (QBA)'. Appreciation for the fact that a thought of her (my quit buddy) carrying on happily smokefree ensures that I cannot smoke. I think that is a positive spin on it. I thought of all of this in the bath. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 15 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 375 Amount Saved: 63.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 21 Mins: 36 Seconds: 19

Hi Danielle, Well that seems to have done the trick, thanks! A nice hot bath with essential oils and I found my positive vibe again! I forget about the rewards thing sometimes, though I know how important it is. Hope I keep the vibe going through tomorrow. I should stay away from bees because I imagine I smell like a sunflower right now. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/12/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 350 Amount Saved: 58.80 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 20 Mins: 2 Seconds: 27

Hi Nance, struggling a little today, hence my positivity slipped a bit. Am working on it again. Its still not enough to make me smoke of course. Especially after I make a promise. Kevin, Long-shot target? Maybe you should make that a short-term goal. Sounds a bit more positive, doesn't it? Actually, your short-term goal is to not smoke today, and since you have promised us all, you will achieve it! Be positive! Kev, You've got to know...........you must know.............that I was then, where you are now - both in timeline and frame of mind. I went through day 15 and it was tough but I refer to it for you to realise that you too will be on day 1164 if you continue to go through day 15s and you can if you really want to. Great effort so far, JFDI !!! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/18/2004 Smoke-Free Days: 1164 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 23,280 Amount Saved: 5,820.00 Life Gained: Days: 186 Hrs: 23 Mins: 22 Seconds: 39
