WOOHOO! You're doing great on your first day, bresmama. Yes, it does get easier. Everyone is different, but the concensus arond here seems to be that the first 3 days are the hardest as the nicotine is leaving your body & the junkie starts to realize there ain't no more coming right away. Hang in, one day at a time. OMG, the tiredness. Yes, many of us have had that, too. I was sleepy, lazy & "off" feeling for the first week & then gradually better over the next 2 weeks or so. Listen to your body, it's telling you what you need. DO NOT listen to the junkie. In other words, bresmama, if you're tired, sleep. Don't wait until the junkie steps in to tell you that you wouldn't be so tired if you just had a smoke. What you're feeling is normal, be kind to yourself & give yourself a reward for getting through day 1. YAY, bresmama!!!
