My big day is finally here and I feel like I can breathe a sigh of relief. It wasn't easy to get here, so I am proud of myself. I wanted this for so long, but kept failing and failing until I think my spirit was sore, but with alot of support and encouragement and some soul searching, as was advised, (thanks Healer) I have made it. There were times when I seriously doubted my resolve to stay with this, but I knew if I was ever going to get out of this trap, I had to be the one to stop the madness. I thank everyone here for your encouragement. The talks and emails have been so much help. I won't name names but you know who you are. You have been so much help and I thank you. I have chosen today, my one year milestone, to leave the SSC. I feel I must move on at this point and coming here is a constant reminder of smoking to me, and I must do all that I can to maintain my quit. I wish each and every one of you all the best in your quest for a healthy life. Hang on, it really does get so much better!
