Blue Cloud, you are doing great. Yes there are those awful moments, please just breath though them. I lost a lot of quits because I caved, I sure don't want that for you. You have 14 days hold them close. One second, one minute, one hour, one day at time that's all you have to do. Congrats you are doing it!!! Keep the Quit Sparky My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/30/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 80 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 800 Amount Saved: $240.00 Life Gained: Days: 10 Hrs: 19 Mins: 14 Seconds: 27

Blue Cloud, You are doing great 14 days down and a life time of smoke free days ahead. We have good and bad days and once we learn that a smoke isn't going to help the bad days we start to learn coping skills and that is what we need. Hang in there you will succeed :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/21/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 120 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,400 Amount Saved: $780.00 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 23 Mins: 4 Seconds: 10

Congrats Blue Cloud Two weeks is great! Don't worry about being more emotional, that happened to all of us. If you find yourself feeling blue and weepy, vitamin B complex helps out with that, that is another common occurance among us quitters. Its all normal and part of our bodies healing processes. I agree with you, I too realized I hid behind my cigarettes for all those years and didn't feel any emotions, nicotine numbs you of that. These days I find myself to be much calmer amd more even tempered than before I quit. Hope this helps! Have a good night! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 136 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,400 Amount Saved: $1,434.80 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 14 Mins: 14 Seconds: 5

Blue Cloud. Congratulations on making it through hell week and heck week. I had an emotional quit myself full of moments when I would say my life is such a mess. Smoking masked many things but the further I was in my quit the more I was able to deal with. You don't have to "fix" anything. You just have to live your life one day at a time and do the best you can. That is what it is all about. You have a chance to wipe the slat clean and begin again. That is exactly what you are doing as a quitter two weeks into it. I don't know about you but I know that my entire persona changed when I quit. Not over night but over a period of time. Life gets better and better all the time but you have to remember to take it one step at a time. I think you are an amazing woman with a lot of courage to take on the challenges you are. Congratulations again. Congratulations on getting through the first two weeks, Blue Cloud! Those are huge weeks, and usually tough weeks! That voice in your head? It will begin to quite. Give it time, keep doing what you're doing and ENJOY YOUR LIFE! TODAY! That's the most effective thing you can do. Do not spend time thinking about smoking, thinking about how it was. That robs you of this moment. Make the most out of now. Live your life, right now. You're doing terrific, and things are only going to get better! You're doing great, bluecloud! Yep, it's a pretty awesome journey we're on. Handling unpleasant emotions has been one of my main triggers throughout this. Whenever I've been tempted, I remind myself that smoking will not solve the problem or make me feel any better. In fact, it will make me feel worse. Keep up the great quit you've got going -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 118 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,720 Amount Saved: $802.40 Life Gained: Days: 16 Hrs: 12 Mins: 21 Seconds: 4
