About 135 days ago, yes it would have made me want to light up in protest, now it just makes me angry. OUr government has done the same thing. Instead of bringing in programs and more help for people to quit, they just jack the price higher and higher and then ban smoking everywhere. Some provinces are actually considering banning it in your own home or yard.
To me thats the chicken s--t way out! Tell me Mr.Politician what other productin this world, that is proven to cause cancer, is taxed to the hilt, and is still sitting on the store shelves every day to be sold to the public.
It ticks me off the amount of taxes they nailed me with, all the while subsidizing farmers that grow tobacco, helping them find tobacco with a higher nicotine content.
I say put your money where your mouth is, open some clinics, educate people, help us quit smoking rather than making us hide in the bushes.
Sorry this is so long winded. Thats my 2 cents! :(
