Aloha, I read that 'Junkie Thinking' thread regularly. Theres no chance of me getting over-confident and letting my guard down as I still fight near constantly against nico thoughts. A lot better than last week still. Probably down to 89% from 99% thinking about smoking. The good news is that I am now running on 0 nicotine. Sam2007, hope it is going well today? You seem to be doing well. Hi Aloha & Phil, Well we both work in very close proximity. If one looks like blowing the quit, the other pulls that one out for a quick walk/tea/coffee. It works quite well and avoids either one of us getting in trouble (hitting a manager, throwing computers etc). I've got every 'calming hypnosis' CD known to man here too. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/1/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 10 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 250 Amount Saved: 42.00 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 6 Mins: 18 Seconds: 20

You're doing great kev Are you seeing some patterns to triggers and what coping strategies work for each type? I am so glad you have a quit buddy there with you. Please don't let your guard down. Have you looked at Junkie Thinking: a Survivor's Guide thread? I kept that printed out and right next to me for the first month. Not One Puff Ever and you will do fine -aloha My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/22/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 110 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,400 Amount Saved: $748.00 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 10 Mins: 6 Seconds: 1

Hi Josie & Nance, 9 Days now yep. The turning point for me was my quit buddy actually sticking a whole weekend cold turkey. We're helping each other at the moment. Today was extremely hard. But we both got through it.
