Thanks Kristy! This is my most annoying symptom right now and I'm sure it will diminish but WOW it's almost overbearing sometimes!!!!

Hi Rhonnie, I get this at night. If I wake up in the middle of the night which I use to do every night, I would get a song stuck in my head and of course that would make me panic. I would hit my head against the pillow and try to think of a different song, but to no avail. You're def. not alone. The only good part about it happening at night is that you get so tired you eventually conk out. I had it for a few months straight and then it subsided. Hopefully yours will do the same. Keep us posted! Hugs, Kristy

Hi Sammi thanks for replying. Even though the dr.,phsychiatrist and cbt therapist said it was normal,it's always more assuring when you hear about it from someone who has this disorder!!

I get songs stuck in my head alot. Boy is it annoying! Not only songs but thoughts, phrases, commercials, etc. When it happens I usually end up having an anxiety attack because it gets on my nerves so bad. This happens to me mostly when I am alone and bored, like when I am driving. I try everything to get my mind on something else. Dont worry, you're not the only one! Hang in there and Good luck. Sammi

Hi everyone I've been doing much better lately and was wondering if any of you get songs stuck in your head. I have been told that this is normal in anxiety but have heard of few who have this. It's my most annoying symptom right now. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!
